Belly Up

28 Jul

I’m not what you would call fat – I’ll lay you out if you do – but over the last year or two, I’ve started developing a little belly.  There’s not enough that I feel weird going shirtless, but there’s enough to get a little handful.

And I find it kinda epic.

OK, maybe not epic – but I get  a kick out of it.  When I’m out with friends and we’ve been swimming and drinking, we all tend to grab our little guts and talk about how we gotta be careful, if we let our bellies get too much bigger, we won’t be able to see our junk or we’ll crush the babes, etc.

None of us want to get fat, but there’s something about being a little oveweight that we all get into.  And I’ve seen it in a lot of guys, especially at college.

Anyone know why that is?
